Q: Can funds be withdrawn directly from my account with out my authorization?

Funds can only be withdrawn with your authorization via your electronic signature. No one can deduct money from your account automatically unless you specifically authorize it.


Q: Are electronic payments via the Web riskier than paper checks or credit cards?

No. Electronic payments can be safer than writing a check or using a credit card. The paper item can be lost, stolen or destroyed. All Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) transactions are governed by strict national rules and guidelines. Billions of EFT transactions and credit card transactions are securely processed annually in the United States. Also, Tempus Technologies, our payment provider, has leading-edge SSL encryption and other security measures in place to ensure the security and safety of your transaction.


Q: When is the electronic payment withdrawn from my account?

The payment will be withdrawn from your account 1-2 business days after you initiate the payment. The day the withdrawal occurs on will depend on your specific financial institution.


Q: Can I schedule automatic payment at different points of the month?

Tuition is due on a weekly basis therefore we offer the option of weekly automatic payments which will be processed every Monday. If you wish to make your tuition payment at a different time please use the “make a one time payment” option which is found on the Make a Payment screen.


Q: Is there any charge to me from my bank to pay online?

No. Electronic funds transfers carry no bank fees to you.


Q: How can I keep my checkbook straight if I’m utilizing the automated payment options?

Your weekly automated payment will be initiated on Monday morning, and you will receive a receipt for that payment. You may either deduct this payment from your account record in advance or once it has occurred.


Q: How can I keep a record of the tuition amount I have paid?

The Payment History on the payment website will show all payments processed. You will also receive an automated email after each payment has been processed. Please confirm that your email account doesn’t use a spam blocker. Add to your address book to avoid email blockage.


Q: Can I make a payment for today if I am past the automated payment withdrawal date?

Yes, you can make a one-time payment today and also set up an automated payment for future tuition payments.


Q: What if I change banks or accounts or want to change/cancel the amount of my automated payments?

You can update your payment method information at any time through the My Profile option. You can update or cancel your automated payment at any time through the Make a Payment option. Please make any changes by 4 PM CT on Friday prior to the scheduled automated payment date.


Q: What should I do if I cannot cancel my recurring payment in time or have forgotten to cancel it?

Q: What should I do if I accidentally enter the wrong amount when making my payment?

Q: Why didn’t I receive an email receipt?

It is possible that your email account’s spam filters treated the automated receipt as spam. You may also add as a contact to your email address book.
